Listening to what the ocean has to say about climate change

The Sonic Sea Symposium: Listening to Underwater in time of changes is funded by a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Connection Grant offered by the Canadian Government. The Symposium will take place in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Victoria which is located on the traditional territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Esquimalt) Peoples and the Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.

This site will be updated as we work on the organization of the event.
